The James Bond Shaken Not Stirred coin is the 3rd and final coin in the set to commemorate the release of the 25th James Bond Film. There are collectors of James Bond memorabilia all over the World, so this coin is bound to prove popular, as will the other two coins in this set.

History of the coin

The £5 coin is not released in to circulation, but it is used to commemorate special people and events. The coin is known as a crown, and had a value of 25p, or 5 shillings. The first £5 coin worth £5 was issued to commemorate the 90th birthday of the Queen Mother in 1990.

Although the coins are released as commemorative coins only, they are legal tender. Not all banks will accept them though, and most collectors wish to hold on to them.
